Overview

The Revenue Operations Specialist position provides support to the Revenue Team at IMS, collaborates with Marketing on business development and revenue building initiatives, and conducts research on legal litigation and market trends to report to management. This position also serves as a liaison between sales and multiple departments across IMS.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provides administrative support to Client Managers, Lead Generation Specialist, Revenue Operations Manager, Director of Sales, and the Chief Revenue Officer
  • Mining data and providing reports to assist in the analysis of existing and potentially new business
  • Monitors new activity through daily alerts for existing court cases in various database sources, alerts Client Managers, and provides updates to job/case as needed
  • Analyzes, researches and documents detailed information through legal dockets and news venues focusing on activity within the federal and state courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC) and other various specialized courts
  • Conducts research and analysis of data for the purpose of report generation
  • Provides updates on existing open and placed search case details to various departments
  • Plays active role with Inbound Team which includes screening inbound opportunities, monitoring incoming calls and coordinates communication with responsible team members
  • Executes direct mail print campaigns
  • Performs outreach campaigns via multiple platforms
  • Audits the integrity of company data to assure quality in our Applicant Tracking System and updating as needed
  • Supports Revenue Operations Manager as needed on strategic business development initiatives

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts research and monitors legal news of targeted firms, notifying manager of events for client outreach
  • Performs special projects as assigned by management
  • Audits contact and company records in database system
  • Supports Inbound team with answering incoming calls and vetting inbound opportunities
  • Supports strategy, approach, and relationship planning for targeted top AmLaw100 and 200 firms.
  • Docket analysis and interpretation
  • In-Market and conference support
  • Assist with LinkedIn connection campaigns
  • Case research and reporting
  • Email outreach campaigns
  • Produces key results in legal research through active use of tools and systems
  • Back up to Project Support team as needed
  • Conducts research and monitors legal news of targeted firms, notifying manager of events for client outreach
  • Collaborates with Marketing department on revenue generation initiatives
  • Coordinates and executes print mail surround campaigns with direction from the Revenue Operations Manager
  • Retrieves documents from WestLaw and Monitor Suite for distribution to Client Managers and Project Coordinators

EDUCATION & TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of business experience, preferably within a professional services firm or legal entity
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing preferred
  • High proficiency with MS Office 2017– specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge of database systems and technology platforms such as Westlaw, Lexis, Domo, Hubspot, Sharpspring, SalesForce, Zoom, Smartsheet, and Bullhorn
  • Extensive experience conducting searches via the internet required
